About The Scholar:

 

Mohammed Eyada Ayoob Alkobaisi is basically from Iraq. He is residing in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE). He has been appointed as a Grand Mufti in Iftaa Department by 'Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department', Dubai, UAE since year 2007. He is also a part-time professor of Islamic Culture in Arabic and English, Sharjah University, UAE since year 2011.

 

About His Education:

 

PhD, in Usool al Din, specialization in tafseer & hadith from the Baghdad University, Iraq in year 2002. The thesis was titled "The Lost part of Tafseer al Qur'an mosnadan … by Ibn Abi Hatim, Collection, Authentication, Study and Takhreej". The thesis was Awarded EXCELENCE with the recommendation for publishing, grade 95%.

 

MA, in Usool al Din, specialization in Tafseer & Hadith from the  International Islamic University, Islamabad in year 1997. The thesis was titled "E'jaaz Al Qur'aan for non-Arabs". The thesis was awarded EXCELENCE grade.

 

BA, in Usool al Din from the International Islamic University, Islamabad in year 1991 and was awarded EXCELENCE grade.

 

High School Certificate, from Abi Zaid Al Ansari School, Makkah Al Mokarramah in year 1989. and was awarded EXCELENCE grade. He stood first in the West District.

 

Holy Qur'an Memorization Certificate from the Holy Qur'an Memorization Society, Al Haram Al Makki, Makkah Al Mokarramah, Saudi Arabia in year 1984.

 

Ejazaa in the Six Books of Hadith, with Continuous-Chain to the Messenger (ï·º– peace and blessing be upon him).

 

Ejazaa in many fields of Islamic and Arabic sciences from different scholars.

 

Ejazaa in Fiqh and other sciences from Sheikh Ali Humaid Qasim, The Mufti of The Shafie School in Dubai, between the years 2007-2013.

 

 

About His Recognitions and Awards:

 

He was winner in Dubai Government Excellence Program in Innovation during year 2008. He was honored by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum the prime minister of UAE.

 

He was chosen to represent innovation in government work, the Initiative of Mohammed Bin Rashid for Government Innovation (Ibdaa'), in Dubai Forum for Government Best Practice in year 2012.

 

He was finalist in Dubai Government Excellence Program, in Excellence in Specialized Work during year 2011. He was honored with an appreciation certificate from HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum the prime minister of UAE.

 

He had achieved first place in the Excellence Program, the distinguished Mufti during the years 2009 and 2011 from Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Dubai.

 

He had achieved first place in the Excellence Program, the distinguished Researcher during year 2008 from Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Dubai.

 

He was honored as the distinguished academic employee in year 2006 by Research House for Islamic Studies and Heritage Revival, Dubai.

 

He was a Gold Medalist in academic achievement in Master Degree during year 1997 in International Islamic University, Islamabad and was honored by HH Farouq Laghari, the then President of Pakistan.

 

He had received Certificate of Academic Excellence in B.A. from International Islamic University, Islamabad, and was honored by HH Gholam Ishaq, the then President of Pakistan.

He had planned, prepared and supervised the TV Program "Fa Ennahu Yarak". The said program deals with Shariaa & Real Estate Business and broadcasts on ALAQARIA Channel in 20 episodes.

 

He had planned, prepared, supervised and presented the TV Program "Shari'a & Real Estate". The said program deals with Shariaa & Real Estate Business in English and broadcasts on ALAQARIA Channel in 8 episodes.

 

He had supervised the TV program "The Voice of Islam" in English, and participated many times as a guest. The program is for new-Muslims and non-Arabs, and broadcasts on IQRA channel.

 

He has presented some episodes of the TV program "al Daribon fi Al Ard" on Dubai Business Channel.

 

He has planned, prepared and supervised the TV Program "Nafahat Ramadaniya" in 60 episodes.

 

He led the Taraweeh prayers in the Mosques of Makkah Al Mokarramah for many years from the age of 12 year till the age of 18 year.

 

He cooperates with Islamic Affairs as Imam and Khateeb in Masjid Tamim Al Dari in Muhaisnah 4 in Dubai since 2011.

 

He cooperates with Islamic Affairs by delivering Friday Khutbah in different mosques in Dubai. He has delivered more than 423 Khutbah with English summary since year 2007.

 

He also cooperates with Islamic Affairs by holding Fatwa sessions in different mosques in Dubai. He has delivered more than 436 sessions, since year 2007.

 

He has served more than 4100 written Fatwa on the Islamic Affairs Online Fatwa Service, since year 2007.

 

 

About His Community Services:

 

He has delivered many lectures in universities and academic institutes; Zayed University, Sharjah University, Ajman University, Higher Colleges of Technology in Dubai, Al-Montada Al-Islami, Dubai School of Government.

 

He has delivered many lectures for students and staff in schools and academic institutes, surgeons, physicians and medical staff, in hospitals and health centers in Dubai, about the Islamic rules, ethics and guidelines in medicine.

 

He has delivered many lectures for government employees in different departments; Dubai Airports, Dubai Customs, Dubai World, Dubai Municipality, Dubai Public Prosecution, Dubai Courts.

 

He has delivered many lectures in Islamic Centers in Dubai, for non-Muslims and new Muslims.

 

He has cooperated with Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, planning for a project of a scientific exhibition, as part of Dubai Festival.

 

He has also delivered many lectures in the European Academy for Culture and Islamic Sciences in Brussels, Belgium.

 

He has participated academically in the exhibition of '1000 years of knowledge rediscovered', and in the international touring exhibition of 'Sultans of Science', and in the Iconic displays in 'Ibn Batuta Mall' in Dubai, in cooperation with MTE Studios.
